In the latest podcast of our Feasta/EHFF series 'Bridging the Gaps,' Mike Sandler and Caroline Whyte discuss the challenge of combating extremism and the potential of a carbon cap and dividend system in the US with sociologist Professor Theda Skocpol of Harvard University.
This Feasta workshop on March 23, facilitated by John Sharry, looked at our emotional response to the crises that we are facing and how we can ensure that we are not disabled but, instead, maintain a creative, thoughtful, empathic response as we navigate our way forward.
Mike Sandler explains why this movie has struck a chord with many climate scientists, 'the modern Cassandras', and suggests that Feasta's activities and Theory of Change might help those who are looking up to figure out what to do next.
This event focussed on a Social Imaginary project which the WEAll Hub of Ireland’s core members have been discussing. The project is a co-production process – a community of practice of artists, activists and researchers exploring how we might imagine the wellbeing economy.
In 2021 we co-organised six online events that explored banking, basic income, biodiversity and the new WEAll hub for Ireland, we made a series of submissions, continued our successful podcast series with EHFF, published many blog articles, and sent a sizeable youth delegation to the COP-26.
